| something for everyone |
what is there for me at totterdown? There's something for everybody at Totterdown, whether you're young or old. We hold morning and evening services on Sundays. The morning service is more family-orientated with a children's talk and Sunday school for children under 16. The evening service is aimed at adults and looks into the Christian life in more detail. I want to find out moreIf you want to find out more about God, Christianity and life, then Growth Groups are a good place to start. We have a number of groups that meet between Monday and Wednesdays in people's homes. The meeting is only around an hour and a half long and very informal, so if you want to ask questions and meet other Christians or just find out what it's all about, feel free to come along. More information about growth groups can be found here. What about kids?As well as the Sunday morning service, we also have two youth clubs that meet on Thursday and Friday evenings. Kids can come and have fun in a safe environment, meet other children and play games. If the weather's good in the summertime, we take the children out for a barbeque and team games. Current entry cost is £1.00. Thursday Club (for Year 7 upwards) runs from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. Friday Club (for Year 4 to 7) starts at 6:30 pm and runs until 8:30 pm Sydenham Road Under FivesThe Sydenham Road Under Fives is a toddler and playgroup that uses the church premises on weekdays. They cater for all pre-school ages. More details can be found on their webpage. What about Christmas and Easter?Being particularly special times for Christians, we always have special events and services around Christmas and Easter. We also hold special events all year round, so bookmark the site and keep an eye on our events page, something is bound to catch your eye. |
